In 1985, with a ministerial order, was acknowledged the DOC certification to the red wine produced in Montecarlo; Montecarlo Rosso DOC. This wine is a blend of our most important autochthonous red gape varietal, Sangiovese, with some other grapes that in Tuscany find the best environment were to best express their potentialities. Our Montecarlo Rosso is a wine exquisitely fruity and round. Easy to pair to our Tuscan cooking, it can be matched as well to grilled red meat thanks to its well balanced body and to its structure and complexity.
AGEING TIME: 3 years
ORGANOLEPTIC ANALYSE:: Intense, dark ruby red, on the palate presents intense red fruits flavours, ripe cherry, red berries and cassis. Full bodied, persistent, fresh and nicely round.
PAIRINGS: Perfect to be paired to our Tuscan cooking, from appetizers and starters to first courses of pasta with meat sauce or vegetable soups. Ideal with grilled red meat.
SERVING TEMPERATURE: 18°–20° C.
